When i try to register for classes for the Fall 2009 semester i get a message that reads
“You do not have a current registration record”

Students waiting “in line” just to put their names and take an appointment with their advisors so that they can be able to register their classes later on. The university still doesn’t have a proper system for class registration! Simlpy Hell!

Does anybody study in University of San Francisco?

i am a transfer student and i have been accepted by USF for Fall 2009, but i still have 4 GE courses havent finish. the consulter advices me to take those 4 GE courses in USF. but you know the tuition for one semester is really expensive (around $17,500). i am thinking about take those 4 GE courses in community college and postpone my USF registration to Spring 2010. but the consulter says you have to stay in our school for four semester anyway, b/c some business major classes has level system which means you have to finish 100 level then go to 200 level. i am not sure if it is sure, they only have 12 busniess course? can i finish them in three semester? i wanna save money!!!

How do I increase my chances of getting accepted at a College or University as a transfer student?

Right now im attending the local community college. The school im trying to go to is Clark Atlanta University. The school only requires 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours to be eligible for transfer. My school is on the quarter system and so far I have 10 hours. Right now im taking 2 classes both worth 5, so after this quarter that would bring me to a total of 20. My question is, i know a certain amount of students apply for transfer every year but not 100% get accepted. Is there anything i can do to help better my chances? or is it just luck of the draw? When you transfer all they require is a transcript of the school you’re currently attending, They don’t look at past SAT or ACT scores or High School transcripts if you’re trying to transfer so the eliminates those options. Could my current GPA make a difference? Because right now im standing at a 3.0 and Clark only requires a 2.5. Could a good letter of recommendation help? I also have room to take on a 3rd class this quarter so maybe having 25 transferable credit would look better than 20? The only thing is i don’t want to take a 3rd class right now if I don’t have to, if i do i can kiss getting an overnight part-time job goodbye (lucky for me I have HOPE) I don’t have long to decide if I should add that 3rd class since the late registration is friday. Bottom line is, what can I do to guarantee or better my chances to getting accepted as a transfer student?

What is registration like at your college or university?

At the university I attend. They treat us like babies. I graduated from a community college and had no problem registering for classes. But, at the university I attend I have to see my adviser every semester. I can see if I was a freshman or sophomore. Then on top of all of that there are not enough online classes. The community college I came from got this university beat. No wonder a lot of students are attending online universities.
