Is it okay to enroll in an Intermediate Cheerleading class even though I’m a beginner?

I want to sign up for cheerleading this season and I was thinking of signing up for the Intermediate classes because it seems more challenging. I have never cheerleaded before and it’s my first time being on a cheer squad. I don’t want to enroll in a beginner class because I’m in middle school and it seems childish. What do you think? Should I sign up for beginner classes or intermediate classes? Please help! Registration is next week!
Oh, here is the flyer for the cheerleading classes:

get a cheerleading instructional video so u dont hav to take beginners classes. kinda embarrasing..lol. or go to mspineapple.com they teach u sum moves and cheers and stuff.
beginner. That’s what you are. Unless you can do a perfect herky and a very good double-toe, keep all your motions clean, base, back, fly or front an extension and at least a back-handspring, stick with beginner.
You say beginner seems childish, but what would be more embarrassing being with other beginners or messing up horribly in front of the rest of you class?
Also if you are good enough they normally ask you to move up.
well i guess beginner since you r a beginner
if i were you i would choose begginging classes
Try for the intermediate, you will do great.
