I need to produce a class registration page/website for students to register for classes. With student, teacher, time, date, place and price of classes. Connected to Paypal or a merchant account. With a cap on classroom enrollment. Waiting list. And a printable spreadsheet. Has anyone ever seen or heard of a website template or flash componet or management software such as this?
Thanks for your time & your help,
Jonra
I don`t think you can buy something like that, considering the interactivity between the institution staff and the database is dependent on that particular school.
Hence, it has to work based upon the institution needs.
That is a big project my friend…. good luck with that
I’ve used Google Apps (google spreadsheets with a form embedded on a google site) to allow our staff to submit information.
The information lands into a google spreadsheet (similar to excel) and can be saved as XLS, CSV, etc.
I’ve done it before, and it works well, except I can’t find instructions.
A similar form looks like this:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=clN4OGlvY2RqQ215ZmpWSXVuaElnRlE6MA
(please don’t fill any info into that)
When you have a spreadsheet in google docs there is a menu that says create form.
Hope this helps.
Not a big deal to make. Post more details at http://www.web2coders.com.
It can be written in two or three days.

That sounds pretty similar to a project I had at one point, my merchant provider setup a solution that wasn’t very expensive. I would suggest talking to them and if your approved for a merchant account with them I’m sure they can intergrate it for you since they have a team dedicated to setting people up with exactly what they need.
However it would be dependent on your data, prices of the classes, the cap, waiting list and etc… assuming you could provide that information to them I don’t see it being a problem. It probably won’t be free but I know when I was originally setup for e-classes with a waiting list and number of other options I was charged about $220.00, they included the price of domain registration and the first month of web hosting in that… which is pretty reasonable, but they might want you to sign a 6 month processing agreement rather than no obligation like they usually do.
Hope this helps, if that’s not a good option for you I’m sure you can find some place to get the code setup.
