Heather Gallagher and Katie Dean Williams for Grady College Senators OUR FULL CONTRACT: I. Establish clearer communication within Grady College. Grady has a lot of unique programs, but many times students are unaware of the opportunities. Thus, a central system is required. We WILL •Contact prominent Grady students already writing blogs for this purpose and create a Grady website where all of the blogs could be accessed from. •Place maps of Grady building in and around Grady College to avoid confusion among the student body. •Create a central location for students to gather information regarding Grady clubs, fraternities, and societies. •Incorporate Grady-wide projects, such as student journals or publications (portfolio creation) into The Grady Journal and make students aware of the opportunities associated with it. •Discuss hosting a student led Grady open house where Grady College majors strong points could be made openly available to incoming students before they apply, in an effort to better inform them as they make decisions. II. Work with faculty to encourage student flexibility within the Permission of Department class registration process. PODs are a problem because many students are frustrated with the classes and class times they are assigned. Students have expressed a need to have options when taking classes.
