So is registration where you sit down with your adviser and pick out classes?? Or do you do that before registration?? The reason I ask is because I was looking online at my schools class listing. And some of the classes are already full!? If someone could help me out here it would be appreciated:)
Well I’ve been calling the college all morning & I FINALY got through! They said I just need to show up on the day of registration and we pick out classes then. So I guess that answers my question. But thanks for all of your help:)
Do you have an appointment with an adviser? If not, make one. You should already have some classes picked out when you go meet with your adviser, and pick out more than you need because some will be full. Freshmen are the last to register for classes.
You will have to wait till registration if your a first time student where you sit down and go through what classes you need with the counselor and then register and pay. If your an existing student, you can typically register early which is why some of the classes get full before registration.
Registration is when you actually sign up for your classes. Sitting down with your adviser and picking out what you want to take is called being advised. I don’t know what college you’re going to, but most colleges require you to be advised before you can register. So if you haven’t already talked to an adviser and chosen your classes, you should probably do that ASAP.
