This is coming from a senior in college...

Take the classes back to back. It might seem like a lot now, but when you space them out too much you run the chances of not wanting to go to the later class, taking a nap and being late to a class, etc. Trust me, I been in the same predicament and have tried both methods.

Plus, when you have them all back to back, you usually keep your attendance on track. That way, you only miss a class if you don't go to the first one or just blatantly skip the others.

You sound like you want to take the geography class. I had sooo many 3 hour breaks in university, and I'll be honest, they fly by. Especially if your classes are in different buildings and you have to run between lecture halls. Not to mention during midterms, you'll be glad for an extra cram session before class starts. Once you find some friends too, killing 3 hours is super easy.

Get your classes over as soon as possible. I suggest have 2 classes back to back, an hour break, then another class or two. And for your first time you don't want to overload yourself. And DO NOT pick classes earlier than when you know you can wake up!!! That means no 7 am classes on Mondays when you've been partying all weekend.
